At the Secondary level, things are carried out differently as compared to the primary level. Most of the subjects in secondary require a lot of effort to grasp and practice.
Among the subjects, three sciences are done by students of Secondary Level and require to have a laboratory where chemicals and apparatus are kept and practicals are done.
In most cases, it is preferred to have two separate laboratories(One for two optional sciences: that is Biology and Physics and one for the compulsory science which is Chemistry ) But due to insufficient funds we have been surviving with one laboratory for all three sciences.
In this situation, our laboratory has inadequacy of important pieces of equipment such as a Volumetric flask, Triangular Prism for physics practicals, conical flasks, clamp stand, and bunsen burner.
Some chemicals in our Laboratory have expired and also distilled water is not enough which makes us use tap water which brings inaccuracy of the result and solutions during experiments. The water pipes are not functioning all of them are broken.
Our cabinets are not lockable, all the cabinets are loose, and this makes it impossible to store the chemicals and apparatus safely.
cabinets to remain unlocked.
During the last two weeks, grade twelve and other grades have been struggling when doing practicals but the students are trying to understand the concept using the notes given.
