Greetings all, I am very honoured and thankful to be the judge for the September edition. It seems like it has been a very eventful and fulfilling month for Children’s Garden Home and School. Reading the blogs posted made me reminisce when I was a student so many years ago. It is certainly heartening to see another school year go by with many improvements made to the school.
Victoria shared the experience she had cleaning and maintaining the condition of Children’s Garden Home and School. It is important to keep a clean and organised school to provide a conducive environment for students to learn effectively. I am heartened by the teamwork and resilience shown by the students as they worked through the day.
Hope Wanjiku’s article shared about the progress on the new autism classroom. It is delightful to know that the school is becoming more inclusive, providing a learning opportunity to every child. There is a newly elected prefect which I am sure will voice out the concerns of his/her peers. I selected her article because it highlighted the school’s academic and cognitive progress for the year, showing that the students’ hard work has come to fruition.
Seeing as the academic year is coming to an end, all the best to the students sitting for the national examination and to do your best. Mungu akubariki!
