It is an organization which was formed to support the marginalized group and the needy, it has groups around different parts of the world. Lions club of Dagoretti is one of these groups and it is headed by a president known as Gagan Ghachiri. Mr. Hamza is one of the members of this group and is so optimistic to change the lives of many people by supporting them. Besides this, he is a director, headmaster and a teacher of pensonah school in runda, Nairobi. The school was previously in children’s garden home and school last year to do their national exams they had supported us with stationary such as calculators and some food which was used during examinations. Today, 14th February 2024, Mr Hamza together with other students such as Abdallah Ashley, zahir kausar and Asia visited us to share their love with us because it is a valentine’s Day.According to Mr. Hamza Muslims do not believe in valentine but they visited us because the last time they were here they fell in love with our school.We entertained them and they really enjoyed the dance, choir and acrobat performances.The group was wearing an orange t-shirt each to represent a lions club. We were adviced to focus on our goals and to work hard in our studies. They brought sanitary pads for girls and we were all given. They all the promise to come back again.We interacted with students and land more about them Asia who is a daughter to Mr Hamza decided to repeat the previous class since she wanted to pursue a course in medicine but was not able to qualify. We were also informed that there are two groups of these club the Alfa secondary school and Omega University for those in secondary schools and universities respectively. The students are appreciated our welcome and promise to come back again.Thank you.
