A good day to everyone.

Hi, my name is Seng Hee and I am from Singapore working as a Project Manager handling information technology projects. Alvin Yong, in the picture, was my secondary school mate. It was a privilege for me to go through the blogs in November and each of the blog depicted unique experiences and learnings.

Victoria’s Blog on A Visit By Light Academy reflected her learnings through the visitors from the academy and her interactions with them. She was able to share about interactions with them as well as the inspirations obtained from this visit. Her sharing was encouraging and reminded us that unity is strength.

Kevin’s blog on Lego Robotics Local Competition provided vivid description of the competition and the challenges they had to overcome in the competition. It was a test of their technical skills and teamwork and more importantly, their ability to overcome the unknown through practice and tests.

Both blogs were interesting and it was difficult to choose the winner. I would nominate Victoria’s blog as the winner as she was able to convey her life journey and learning process throughout the interactions with the visitors. On a side note, we are now into the month of December and as the year comes to a close, this would be a good time to review what we have done for the past months and look forward to a new year.Every great adventure starts with action and the act of believing in yourself. Remember, thoughts and dreams are great to have but power is in the action. You are capable of amazing things! Remember, even the tallest mountains such as Mount Everest were climbed one step at a time. Whenever you feel unsure, think about a time when you achieved something you thought was impossible. Keep that feeling close, and let it guide you!It’s also important to know that you have a community of support around you. Friends, family, and staff are here to cheer you on! Whenever you feel down or need encouragement, reach out to someone you trust. Sharing your feelings can lighten your heart. As the saying goes, if you want to go fast, go alone but if you want to go far, go together.Cheers and have a great Christmas and wonderful New Year!!!
