Hello everyone, I am Alice Gan from Singapore.I first learned about Children’s Garden Home (CGH) through Alvin in December 2022. I was deeply inspired by his efforts to support CGH and touched by the kindness and dedication of Daddy Moses and his wife, Sylvia, in helping the children. In my personal life, I enjoy traveling and expressing my creativity through drawing, particularly Nagomi art, as well as colouring. To stay healthy, I practice yoga, Pilates, Qigong, and go hiking. Additionally, I have a passion for reading articles and books that enrich my knowledge and support my journey of self-improvement.Every day, I dedicate a quiet moment to self-affirmations and reflections. I am always grateful to everyone who enters my life, whether they bring positive or challenging experiences, as they have shaped me into who I am today.I am honoured to be invited as a judge for December 2024.For the two entries, I would like to share my humble opinions.Victoria Khalayi’s blog highlights an engaging and collaborative learning environment. It demonstrates the diverse skill sets being developed, such as graphic design, editing, and filmmaking, while emphasizing inclusivity and equal opportunities for all participants.Yvonne’s blog provides a heartfelt and personal narrative that connects emotionally with the reader. It balances personal aspirations with a sense of gratitude and acknowledgment of support systems. Her story conveys a clear vision for the future and a strong determination to give back to the community. After careful consideration, I am pleased to announce the winning story for December 2024: “Aspirations of Yvonne” by Yvonne.Yvonne’s story stands out due to its emotional depth, personal storytelling, and clear aspirations for the future.
