Hello everyone, I am honoured to be the judge for the August articles. It was quite an insightful experience to read the articles, as they reminded me the simple joys of writing that I used to enjoy when I was back in school, so many, many years ago😊 Thank you for bringing back those memories for me.

Hope Diana’s articles on the New Kitchen and Cleaning Day brought out the excitement that everyone experienced with all things new and fresh. I selected her article on the New Kitchen, because it was not just about the kitchen, but the gifts of food that filled the kitchen. It highlighted the promise of good food that everyone in the Home can look forward to; and with food, what better way to bring everyone together, to bond and strengthen the relationship of a families and friends, which is so important. Hope also highlighted the generosity of the sponsors – a reminder that there are always good people out there who believes in the gift of giving….not just in kind, but through their actions too.
