On 7th April 2024 following the conclusion of the church service, the joy on the children’s faces was truly radiant, as if their smiles were a reflection of their inner happiness at the presence of esteemed guests from the International School of Kenya (ISK).The ensuing interactions were immediate and enthusiastic, with everyone eager to exchange experiences and knowledge. Without delay, we were divided into groups based on our preferences. These groups included drawing, dancing, basketball, and football. For those less interested in the aforementioned activities, storytelling was a popular choice. I had the opportunity to visit each group, and I must say, they were all captivating. The children in the drawing group were producing remarkable paintings and illustrations, showcasing their incredible talent. The dancers were equally impressive, each striving to outdo the other in a display of skill and enjoyment. The players, on the other hand, brought a smile to my face with their falls, rises, and goals. And lastly, the storytellers were a delight with their amusing tales.Around noon, the groups disbanded, and the entertainment segment commenced. We all congregated in the dining hall where the visitors treated us to a delightful showcase of dances, acrobatics, songs, and poems. Following the entertainment, the visitors shared words of encouragement and snacks as a gesture of their affection towards us. To conclude the day, we gathered for a group photo.
