On a memorable wednesday evening, the students of Childrens Garden home and School were invited to the International School of Kenya (ISK) to watch a captivating play performed by ISK’s talented students. The event was an exciting opportunity for the young learners to witness the creativity and hard work that goes into putting together a theatrical performance. The play, which was carefully crafted by the ISK drama department, was filled with inspiring performances, vivid storytelling, and impressive stage craft. It provided not only entertainment but also a valuable learning experience for the Children’s Garden students, who had to appreciate the importance of collaboration, expression and cultural exchange through the arts. Our students were particularly enthusiastic about seen their peers from a different school come together to create such a powerful and engaging production. The atmosphere was filled with energy,as the children laughed, cheered, and uploaded at every twist and turn of the performance. The visit was a reminder of the power of the arts in fostering community, creativity and communication among students. It also served as an excellent platform for building connections between Children’s Garden and ISK,reinforcing the value of cross-school collaborations. The staffs and students of Childrens Garden Home and School extended their gratitude to the International School of Kenya for hosting them and giving them the opportunity to be part of such a powerful cultural exchange. We look forward to more such enriching experiences that foster growth and learning in a fun interactive way.
