As the old saying goes the Ornament of a House is the Friends Who Frequent It, in children`s garden we love and always welcome visitors. The children in this home love and are encouraged by frequent visitors who come. As we say here visitors are always welcomed .

 On closing of schools, visitors frequently come from different places and different organizations, and bring with them all forms of gifts for the children, books, clothing, food, bedding fulfilling the so said month of sharing. It might be laughter or whatsoever one`s heart desires to share.Here is a chronology of events on how visitors came this long holiday

 On the 21st of December 2022, visitors from a hotel came and brought food items, snacks, clothes, and shoes. On the 23rd of December 2022, the former president of Kenya Uhuru Kenyatta came and brought food, toys, snacks, clothes, shoes, cake, oils, soaps, and lotions. On the same day, there were also visitors from a company who brought food, snacks, cocoa, clothes, shoes, and sports equipment. On the 24th of December 2022, we had visitors who came and cooked delicious food for us and also left us some gifts. The beneficiaries and volunteers helped distribute the gifts among the children. 

On 25th December 2022, which was Christmas eve, visitors from the International School of Kenya and one of the Alumni who work there came and brought us a special breakfast to start our Christmas day, they came with a lot of presents which we did enjoy. On the same day, visitors from Twiga tours came with daddy Minazi and brought us clothing, ice pop and served us lunch with sodas. On the 26th, which was boxing day, we opened our presents. You can imagine the joy and happiness on our faces as we opened the gifts of our choices. 

On the 27th, we ate Pizza and soda which were bought by sponsors from the kid to kid foundation, Debby, Wave children’s foundation, and the orphaned starfish foundation. On the 29th, Daniel and Lilian with their parents came from China and brought a lot of foodstuffs.On 1st January, we were visited by Mum Anju and her family who also served us lunch and snacks. On the 5th we were visited by a family from a vision of hope who brought us gifts. On the same day in the afternoon, other visitors from Hope Church visited us and brought gifts. The journalism club members of Children`s Garden News Network and garden voices were given presents donated by Daddy Alvin Yong. The chat club members were also given their presents which were bought by Natalie and her Chat Club friends from England. All this while we were always happy and We thank all those who contributed to our happiness. 

We are always grateful and thankful to all who make our live here at children`s garden easier and enjoyable. Most of the visitors spend time with us encouraging us and giving us an apt view of certain circumstances. They act as our parents and siblings as they get to know us and enjoy spending time with us this helps us to work hard and smart in every field so that we can try achieve what they have and give back to society as they have.
