Since the arrival of daddy Alvin in the Children’s Garden, we have seen progress in our institution. We have seen the continuation and almost completion of the secondary school building. He left each of the students with a smile after the mount Longonot trip where they enjoyed their trip together with Daddy Moses and Mom Silvia. He held talk sessions with the form fours whereby he encouraged and motivated them ahead of their final school examinations.
Daddy Alvin, being a journalism club member raised awareness of the need to pursue talent and promised to reward those who will be found to have prepared the best article of all. Daddy Alvin sensitized the need for students to nature their talents knowing that they have someone to rely on. We sat down with the entire journalism club and saw that Daddy Alvin had handed it over by participating in that project.
Most of the school projects have been seen to be going well, for example, the greenhouse where the growth of tomatoes has given better results than before due to close supervision.
At the event of closing schools, Daddy Alvin joined us and gave us his background, and told us how and when he met with daddy Moses. Just as the saying goes”a good friend is like a four-leaf clover, hard to find and lucky to have”. Now, they are still working together in raising this wonderful home. Students who had performed well academically were gifted by Daddy Alvin and Daddy Moses to motivate them to keep up the good work.
On the eve of Daddy Alvin’s departure, he served the wonderful and special dinner that he had purchased and organized to be prepared. Everyone was happy that night because of the wonderful supper that they had taken and they thanked Daddy Alvin.
On behalf of all journalists, I take this opportunity to thank you Dad Alvin for every single second we spent together with you in our school, and for the mercy and love that you have and are still showing us. May God bless every step that you make and the rest of your family.
